$250 OFF Smart Garage Door Opener Installation (Belt & Chain Drive with California SB 969 Battery Backup) in Los Gatos, CA

Q: Are battery backup garage openers required by law in California?

Yes, 100%. Under California Senate Bill 969, all newly installed residential garage door openers in California must include an operational battery backup system. This law protects homeowners by ensuring you can open your garage door and safely evacuate your vehicle during wildfires, earthquakes, or power grid outages in Los Gatos.

Q: What is the difference between belt-drive and chain-drive openers?

Belt-drive openers use steel-reinforced rubber belts and operate virtually silently, making them ideal for Los Gatos homes with bedrooms or living spaces adjacent to or above the garage. Chain-drive openers use heavy-duty steel chains and offer rugged, cost-effective power for detached garages and heavier doors. Our $250 discount applies to both types!

Q: Can I operate the opener during a power outage in Los Gatos?

Yes. The integrated California SB 969 battery backup automatically kicks in during a blackout, providing up to 50 complete open and close cycles so your car is never trapped.

Q: Can I control the new opener from my smartphone?

Yes, 100%. Our openers feature built-in Wi-Fi with the MyQ app, allowing you to open or close your garage from anywhere, receive instant motion alerts, and allow secure in-garage package deliveries.

Q: How do I redeem the $250 discount?

Call our Los Gatos dispatch office at (408) 780-0712 and quote promo code OPENER250 to lock in your $250 discount on any new belt or chain drive battery backup opener.

Under California Senate Bill 969, all residential garage door openers must include a functional battery backup to ensure emergency vehicle egress during power blackouts and wildfire evacuations. For a limited time in Los Gatos, CA, Garage Door Repairs Trust Mansour is offering an exclusive $250 discount on premium LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie ultra-quiet belt-drive and heavy-duty chain-drive opener systems equipped with certified battery backup and MyQ Wi-Fi smartphone monitoring.

Due to the marine coastal fog, salt air, and damp ambient conditions in Los Gatos, standard builder-grade hardware suffers accelerated oxidation. We engineer our installations with corrosion-resistant galvanized springs, 316 stainless aircraft cables, and sealed 13-ball nylon rollers.
